Langbard Oils and Balms was born out of a passion for finely crafted, hand made products. The history and culture of using 100% natural products has greatly influenced our approach to making all of our products. Small batch, hand poured moisturizing oils and shampoo products using only the finest ingredients and lots of care and patients. We hope you enjoy the experience of using our products as much as we enjoy making them.
Research has shown that our sense of smell is the most powerful memory trigger. It can transport you back in time and take you on a journey through the most memorable times in your life. This can bring on improvements in mood and lower stress levels. At Langbard Oils and Balms we're not just making oils and soap products, we're making memories.
Essential Oils are a huge part of history. The practice of using them dates back thousands of years, with evidence of their use in prehistoric times and in ancient cultures. Evidence suggests that aromatic plants were used in prehistoric times, possibly as early as 3,500 to 4,000 years ago. They may have been used to create cave paintings.
